Ingredients
Primary Healing Ingredients:
2 inches fresh ginger root (or 1 tsp ground ginger)
1 tbsp raw honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
1/2 lemon, juiced (or lime)
1 tsp turmeric powder (or 2 inches fresh turmeric root)
1 cup coconut water (or filtered water + pinch of sea salt)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional Enhancers:
Fresh mint leaves
1 cinnamon stick
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
Prepare the Ginger Base
Peel and grate the ginger. Add to 2 cups of hot water (160–180°F), steep for 10 minutes, then strain.Create the Turmeric Paste
In a small bowl, mix turmeric and black pepper. Add a splash of warm coconut water to form a smooth paste.Balance with Citrus & Honey
Add lemon juice and raw honey to the strained ginger base. Stir until honey dissolves.Final Assembly
Combine ginger base, turmeric paste, coconut water, and apple cider vinegar in a large jar. Stir gently. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness.Serve
Enjoy warm or chilled. Garnish with mint, a cinnamon stick, or a dash of cayenne if desired
Notes
Best consumed on an empty stomach in the morning.
Batch-prep and store for up to 4 days in the fridge.
Can be frozen into cubes for convenience.
